BA VIS COM- Sound and Vision

RESEARCH

Confluence Sonic Art Installation by Kent Macpherson & Luke McConnell from Kent Macpherson on Vimeo.

Resonance experiment. Salt or some sort of small grain placed on a table. The sound waves move the salt around creating nice looking forms.

Really nice experiment using liquids and grains to show how the sound looks. By Nigel Stanford

Above experiment explained.

Very interesting video about how sound looks like.

I like the graphics of this video and the music sync with the graphic in the center, every time the bass sounds, the graphic expands just like a sub woofer.

Really amazed about the kaleidoscope, which moves with the melody and changes forms and colours just like a kaleidoscope would.

the mixture of colours is amazing along with the shapes, the music changes as the shapes do, its quite hypnotic to watch.

Animation combining abstract and concrete images, in sync with the music that moves in two channels.

These videos link each other by the position of the main images, everything starts from the center and creates other images/colours around it.

Explaining how the sound looks like depending on the Hz

Another experiment with sound and the hz.

FOR SOME WEIRD REASON BLOGGER DOES NOT LET ME EMBED VIDEOS WITHOUT DELETING OTHER ONES AUTOMATICALLY, THEREFORE THE REST WONT BE EMBEDDED, BUT JUST THE LINK TO THEM
